Who We Are

Harvest for Hunger, located in Snowmass Village, is a charitable organization dedicated to reducing food waste in the Roaring Fork Valley and feeding those in need.  We began as a food rescue organization during COVID in 2021 collecting 67,934lbs of food and over the next three years have a combined total of 269,932lbs.  That is the equivalent of 224,943 meals that have gone in the bellies of those in need instead of the local landfill.  Most recently, with the generosity of the Town of Snowmass Village, Harvest for Hunger opened our first Food Pantry in the Snowmass Village Town Hall to serve the residents and workers in Pitkin County.

With the dedication of our volunteers, staff members, and partners, we strive to improve the lives of everyone who needs help within the community.
